Under heavy compiling load on 25 MHz 386 with 8 Meg ram running
linux-0.99.5 or linux-0.99.6 (both exhibit behavior) with
poeigl-1.11 init X11Free86-1.2 crashes --- screen goes black.

I can still type on keyboard. Compilation continues --- much
HD activity.

I can do CTRL-ALT-F4 and also have black screen.
Can blindly login as root and do sync sync sync halt.

BTW: Under normal usage, haven't crashed.
However when I do CTRL-ALT-F2 I can operate normally in VC, BUT
when I do ALT-F1 to get back to where startx was --- can type but
don't have windows --- just what xserver wrote to tty.

I can kill twm in another VC and "magically" VC back to VC where
did startx. It performs as normal VC.

I have a swap partition in fstab.
