I was wondering what the simplest way of regularly downloading
the contents of a few selected newsgroups from uni to my Linux
machine, so that I don't have to read news at 2400 baud :-)

I have installed cnews and nn, and I have been using term. Should I
get nntpd and do something funky with tredir 119 newsserver:119?
Should I use uucp instead? Should I just roll my own script using
kermit or tupload? Has anyone managed to get something like this
working? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
        Fergus.
