I have a Maxtor IDE drive, bought cheaply as they are made here, and I
have a few problems when fsck is run. It reports then clears blocks,
then has a few HD interrupts, then finishes up. I guess the blocks
aren't really cleared, because the same thing happens w/ another fsck.
So far, this only appears when running fsck. Bad sectors, maybe? Is
there any way to work around bad sectors other than setting partitions
to miss them?
