Ooops, I meant laptops.
The questions I forgot to ask were:
(1) What brand of laptops have Linux and X windows running?
(2) What graphics card (?) do these laptops have?
(3) Can you only run the mono server?
(4) If so, can you run color X on an external monitor?
(5) If so, at 1024x768? Do you need any special add-on hardware to
use this mode?
This is for my research advisor. He wants to demo some software under
Linux and color X windows. I don't have any experience with PC clone
laptops so any advice would be appriciated.
I'll summarize the responses to the net.
Thanks again,
Kevin
