Not true; I have my HD at work set up as
1 DOS
2 Linux Swap
3 Linux
and at home:
1 DOS
2 Linux Root
3 Linux Swap
4 Linux /usenet
Both boot fine with LILO. The key is to create the DOS partition with DOS's
fdisk, not linux fdisk. Other partitions you can make with linux's fdisk.
