Hello,
Over the next several months I'm going to be upgrading my present computer
hardware. And, I have a few questions I need resolved.
First, what is the best base set-up for running linux?
Is a 486DX2-50 better than a 486DX-50 for Linux? What is the difference
   between these chips?
Next, what sort of bus is better for Linux? An ISA or an EISA or are there
others that are better? And, what is the fundimental differences between
   these buses?
The reason why I ask is because I don't upgrade very often, my present
configuration is 8 years old. Hence, I want to get something that will be
reliable and can be used with upcoming software developments. Also, is there
anything I should watch out for when buying one of these modern 486's?

Later...
