Hardware problems? Check if
- both ports are physically installed and working,
- both ports have different control addresses,
- both ports have different interrupts
or software problems: Leave out the 'interrupt autodetect' feature in
kernel config unless it doesn't work without them. (My experience:
AUTO_IRQ does work for both ports with 0.99.4 and does not work for
both ports with 0.99.5. These are both standard hardware, configured
for COM1 and COM2 under DOS - i.e. the safest bet.)
