I'm using kermit with kernel 0.99p5 and it works fine. I have
abandoned minicom because its terminal emulation is too broken. The
device I'm using by now is /dev/cua1 although /dev/ttyS1 has worked
too.
Btw.: Does anyone know what the correct device setup for UUCP is? I've
not yet tried a full UUCP setup but when I'm running uugetty on
/dev/ttyS1 it will put up a lockfile that prevents other stuff
(kermit, uucico) from running on /dev/cua1 *erroneously*.
