... well, i've compiled xvgr, which is the same thing again
(xview version of ACE/gr), but it gets killed with the dreaded floating
point exception during initialisation. I got as far as finding the line
that was crashing it (with gdb), but it wasn't immediately obvious what
to do about it. (I seem to recall that some very small values were
involved, so it was probably a floating-point underflow).
Actually, i used to get similar behaviour from xgobi, but since
(some combination of) 0.99 pl5, gcc 4.3 and libc 4.3, it runs just
fine!
If anyone has solved this, or has suggestions, i'd like to know
also...
BTW, i have a 486 and i'm running with no fp emulation in the kernel.
