It seems such questions have been very frequently asked lately. Is there
an ftp site were people have been uploading working Xconfig files to? If
so, we should probably list this in the FAQ. Otherwise, we should pick a
site and start uploading them!

As for your questions, yes I have a Gateway 2000 486DX2-66V that uses the
ATI Graphicss Ultra PLUS and the 15in Crystal Scan 1572 FS monitor. I
spent about 4 hours making a nice Xconfig file. I've just upgraded to
xfree1.2 and obcourse it no-longer works... However, after a couple of
hours worth of work I now have a working Xconfig again. So, if you e-mail
me (or anyone else for that matter) and tell me which one you want, I'll
send it to you.

As a warning to those upgrading to the new SLS, it seems the modgen spread-
sheets are no-longer present. So, if you plan on making your own video
modes, save these! However there is now a comprehensive list of modes
for different monitors included (none of which worked for me) so maybe
you won't need the spread sheet. (look in /usr/X386/lib/X11/etc)
