Hmm....I seem to have more questions than I mean to...

I noticed some elses post about this, but I have not seen a response.

When I run xterm with a courier font for example, xterm (or somebody)
gets very confused about the font width, and the xterm is twice as
wide as it should be. Text written to the screen is fine (not spaced
out :-), except for that that I type at the prompt. It looks like
this:

% l s - l
file1 file2
...

Why is this, and how do I fix it? My current work around of using vt
HUGE is annoying, because the windows are massive.

Also, has anyone gotten tvtwm compiled for X 1.2? I have been trying,
but havenot had any success yet. If not, then I will post when I do
and the necessary fixes for it.

Well, thank you for your patience.
