Subject: Problem with tcsh-6.03

Hi netters!

I'm having a trouble getting tcsh-6.03 to work with my linux.
After I run tcsh, I can't execute more than 2 commands. The first command
executes fine and I get the prompt back. But after the second command
is executed, it doesn't return the prompt. I can't kill, or suspend
tcsh either. If I check the processes from another tty, it shows
a dead (defunct) process next to tcsh, something like:

root 1269 0.1 4.5 583 376 p1 T 17:41 0:00 -root/src/tcsh-6.03/tcs
root 1270 0.0 0.0 49 0 p1 Z 17:42 0:00 <defunct>

I tried to trace it down with gdb, and it seems that the program is stuck in
a endless loop in pwait() or end(). I tried linux-binary version and also
compiled it myself fresh from source code. But both binaries give me the
same result.
It could be my setup, since nobody else has reported the problem like this.
But I haven't had any major problem like this since I installed my linux
My setup now is new GCC with jump table 4.2, X11 ver 2.0 (or 2.1), and 0.99pl2.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.
