I have a similar setup, but the Cirrus Logic LB board is not supported
(of course mono works though...) I am sending mine back for an ET4000
VLB card. As far as performance goes, I benchmarked the Cirrus Logic vs.
ET4000 and the gain was insignificant... to me... Same thing for a cheap
Wang SVGA card, on this 486-33 VLB system, even the normal 16-bit card
performed well.

You may look into an S3 board, which is supported (albeit ALPHA).
For me, I needed to get a X system going, so I haven't the time to write
the driver needed for the Cirrus Logic Chipset.
