From: KK4D%MARISTB@VM.MARIST.EDU (Dan Newcombe) Subject: If EMACS works for you, PLEASE READ. Date: 21 Feb 1993 06:49:44 GMT
Hi,
I have posted this before. While I do appreciate the answers
that I were given, they didn't help. One was to make sure to
put (enable arrow keys) in my .emacs. That didn't work.
Another was just a file that was sent to me. I assume it was
to go to /usr/local/emacs/lisp/term/console.el as this is the
file that is loaded into emacs at start. This didn't work either.
Now, not to put myself down, but I know next to NOTHING about emacs.
Any help (with some sort of explanation) would be appreciated.
Thanks to all who have and will reply...
