No. Term is SLIP-like, its not SLIP. But its not just an X-windows
things. It provides UW-like functionality in that you can have
multiple shells running on a remote machine displaying on your
machine. But its more than that in that there is more than just a
shell client. One can redirect an X screen from the remote host to
your host; or a port, one can even ftp across the link. Its as nifty
as sliced bread.
