I get the same 2 warnings and the same aXe hang when I use libc.so.4.2
with my ancient 0.99 kernel; this is a binary aXe from November.
aXe works fine with libc.so.4.1. Unfortunately, another program that I
want to use insists on 4.2.

All hints appreciated? Yeah, me too.
