I can't get `xterm -C` working even after I got XFree1.2. The error
messages are directed to the 1st VC (/dev/tty1). There's no effect
whether /dev/console (a symlink to /dev/tty0) and /dev/tty0 are owned
by root or me (ordinary user).

Any hints?
