Hi. Can anyone reccomend a package or a set of utilities to do the following:
I need to produce either .dvi files or postscript files that include a mixture
of text and graphics. I looked a bit at the IV package that came with SLS and
on our 386's, (no 387, 8meg ram) I thought the package had die
d it was so slow.
I don't care if it has a graphical front end, but I would REALLY love something
that handles the inclusion of .pcx, .tiff .gif etc files into either TeX code
or postscript code. I have looked a bit at groff and it will take quite
awhile to learn about, but will it produce .ps files for ghostscript ???
We are desperately trying to get away from DOS applications and I LOVE what
ghostscript output can do on our HPLJII clone...
Thanks to all for the greatest O/S in the world!!!
