Subject: Emacs tex-mode does not work

Hello Linuxers,

one of my remaining problems on my Linux box is Emacs' tex mode.
It says "Cannot open load file: auc-tex".
I did neither find this load file anywhere, nor I found the loadup
demand for it with grep. I did not even find this file in the
"tar tfz" listing of the Emacs 18.59 source on our local file server.
What is the matter with it? My Emacs is part of SLS 0.98.5
distribution.
