Subject: dial in device prematurely woken (99p5)
Date: Wed, 17 Feb 1993 07:52:37 GMT

After upgrading to 99p5, I'm having problems with uugetty being
prematurely woken up after a dialout device is closed.

I thought I saw a patch that Ted posted to fix this, but
I don't have it. Does anyone have that patch (or is my memory
fading and I just thought I remember seeing the patch :-).

I'm using the uugetty in the getty_ps package with the patch applied
in order to use the -n option so that the device (ttyS3) is opened
properly. The first time I open a dial out device (cua3) and close
it, the uugetty on ttyS3 is woken and continues on past the open.
Thus, preventing me from opening a dial out device again.

I think the solution to my problem is in serial.c were Ted's patch
corrected it - if someone has the patch, could you e-mail it
to me -or- if I'm hallicinating, and there was no patch, just let
me know.
