Subject: XFree 1.2 and 64-gray-scale LCD display

I am running Linux on a Samsung NoteMaster 386SX, with a 640x480 LCD
display capable of displaying 64 shades of gray (it is VGA, but when
I boot Linux, the word "EGAc" appears). Will I be able to use the
colour server in the new release of XFree (1.2), or am I still
limited to Xmono? How can I find out what VGA card I have in my
machine? Thanks for any help.
