I agree with Ed here. Sometimes this 'be-newisom' is hard to follow.
It would be nice if we could follow updates to the SLS distribtion
based on kernel releases. Obviously not much is going to change
from release to release so perhaps a message to us not so newbies,
night help. For example a readme file LAST.CHG that contains a
list of updated files since the last kernel change would help.
Posting it would help too.

Anyway, 386BSD or Linux? One word. Linux.
