Dear Linuxers who use Stacker 3.0:

I have both stacker 3.0 (/dev/hda1) and linux (/dev/hda2) installed on
my machine. I started the dos emulator that came with SLS release 0.99p5:

  (1) mount -t msdos /dev/hda1 /usr/dos
  (2) cd /usr/src/dosemu
  (3) dos > errlog

After I had booted DOS 5.0, I did the following:

  (4) c:
  (5) linux d
  (6) cd \stacker
  (7) stacker c:

For (1), I also tried the following: stacker @c:\stacvol.dsk

What I got is the following message: Stacker not installed.

I tried putting the line: device=stacker.com in my config.sys
(I had copied stacker.com to the boot disk). This got rid of
the above message, but I still couldn't access the stackered
volume. What gives?

I know this question has probably been asked before, but when
I tried to look for the file called stacker.doc on sunsite.unc.edu,
I couldn't find it. Could some kind soul give me a pointer to where
it is, or send me a copy of it? Thanks a lot!
