Hi !
As overnight a power failure killed my Linux--X-Terminal (being
logged in in everal computers) Linux wont't boot again.
As soon as rc is processed and fsck invoked thousands of unused
blocks which have been used before are claimed and finally
Linux hangs.
I tried to backup the hard disk via tape streamer but obviously
mkfs does not really kill all former blocks on HD (mkfs -c ...)
as Linux runs fine booted with bootdisk/rootdisk.
But after formatting the HD and reinstalling Linux fsck
hangs it all again !
Please help ! I need my X-Terminal to work !
