I use an Archive Viper 2150S SCSI QIC-150 drive with an Adaptec 1542B
and Linux 0.99. Using GNU tar and the (386BSD?) mt(1) from the alpha
SCSI driver stuff, I can interchange tapes with an SGI Iris 4D (which
also has a Viper 2150S). No obvious problems.
