The SLS distribution does not include the `info' files for Smalltalk. A
painful omission.

The version of GNU Smalltalk on SLS does not have the X support in it by the
look of it.

I would advise anyone wanting to use GNU Smalltalk under linux to delete the
version supplied and obtain a copy from your local GNU archive (should be
called something like smalltalk-1.1.1.tar.Z). You will then have the X
support and the `info' files. Note, however, that the documentation does
*not* describe the Smalltalk language - it's too big - get a book for that.

There are a few things you need to alter to get Smalltalk to compile
properly. If anyone has problems, feel free to contact me about it. If
there's enough interest, I'll post diffs to the newsgroup...
