Hi netters,
I have a problem when installing URT to my Linux-PC. I'm using
SLS with the 99p4 kernal and GNU make. URT uses the make program
very complicated including usage of awk, sed, cat >>file and some
other tricks to configure its subdirectories.
The URT system normally installs very simple and I personally
installed it to DEC-5000, SGI-Iris4d, IBM-RS6000, Cray-2, Cray-Y/MP,
Apollo DN3500 and Sun4 without ever getting any problems in the
installation system.
Now, when trying to install under Linux, it does the configuration
of the main directory, but it doesn't recurse through the sub-dirs,
although the point of the program, where this recursion should take
place, is reached.
My questions now are:
Has someone else made URT working ?
Is there a better make-utility for Linux ?
Thanks for every answer
