Hi all Linuxers!

I am installing Linux to my new computer, so that I could make programs
for Linux and other Unix OSs. I have installed Linux before and I fell in love
with it...I could newer live without it anymore :)

Well...the problem is: When I boot from the Linux installation disk (A1), this
is what happens:

===========================================================================

Loading........................................................................
Press <RETURN> to see SVGA-modes available or <SPACE> to continue

Serial driver version 3.8 with no serial options enabled
ttys0 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16450
ttys1 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16450
8 virtual consoles
lp_init lp0 exists (0)
Future Domain: BIOS at de000: port base at 140; using IRQ 5
Future Domain: SCSI Bus Reset
Unable to handle kernel paging request at address c00000c0
Oops: 0000
EIP: 0008:00043808
EFLAGS: 00010246
fs: 0017
base: c0000000, limit: 000a0000
Pid: 0, process nr: 0
8b 81 c0 00 00 00 89 44 24 30
task[0] (swapper) killed: unable to recover
Kernel panic: Trying to free up swapper memory space
In swapper task - not syncing

==================================================================
And That's it....then it stops and nothing happens....and I have no idea
why it does this. Could someone be so nice and tell me what to do??? Please!
I am totally lost at the moment...:(

Here is my new computer and its stuff:

CPU: 80486 DX2 66MHz, 256K Cache (16ns), RAM 16MB (60ns)
SCSI: Future Domain TMC-1680 (SCSI-II)
HD: Quantum LP240S (SCSI) 245MB (9ms)
VGA: Tiga Card (Texas Instruments) TMS34010
SCREEN:Hitachi 17MVX
MOUSE: Logitech Pilot

Linux boot- and root-disks are from tsx-11.mit.edu: pub/linux/images/
and versions boot-0.99p4.Z and root-0.98.Z.

I have no idea what those ERROR-messages means...and how to fix them.
Everything works fine in DOS...but Linux DO NOT. I am desperate to make
it work...but I NEED ADVICE.

PLEASE HELP ME, SO THAT I COULD START MY PROGRAMMING FOR LINUX...PLEASE!

Linux...is all I want:
