Subject: xview, Slingshot, and g++

I was happy to discover the Slingshot extensions to xview, and
intended to use them on a school project. But, when I try
to take an example program and call it from a C++ main
program, it eats all available swap and hangs?

It does this both on my Linux PC and on the Sun 4 at school.
Should G++ work with X11/xview/Slingshot? Or does G++ (G+-)
do something I don't know about?
