I have run into a problem with 99p5, that I doubt anyone else
will see. That is because for SLS, I try to compile in as much
as possible into the kernel, whereas the average user will only
compile in the devices they own.
For example, I usually compile in all the SCSI devices, all the
BUS mice devs, TCP and NFS, and all the FS's. But I exclude the
soundcard support, 486, and > 16 Meg as to specialized.
The problem I have is that the kernel gives a General Protection 0
upon boot up. I suspect that it is either a single device, or
an interaction between two or more devices. Would someone like to
try this config, and verify one way or the other if they have the
same problem, that would be
great. Even better would be to find which combinations cause
problems and which don't. Note that omitting all SCSI and Bus Mice
works fine for me (ie, I am using it right now).
