Subject: PS/2 type mouse

I have got Linux running on a 486SX which has a PS/2 type mouse.
When I start X it does'nt recognize the mouse. I borrowed a friend's
serial mouse and connected it to my serial port and reflected changes
in Xconfig, it worked fine and brought up the X server.

My Xconfig has the following line for the mouse

Microsoft "/dev/psaux"

I have created the device /dev/psaux as described in the FAQ

Any help will be appreciated
