I think what the original author is trying to say, which
is the same problem i am having is..

He is not logging in and out, It is just one session...
and thrge size of X has grown enormously

I noticed my machine was very slow the other day(it was the day i
tried xdm), because of so much swapping.. I looked and X
had grown by leaps and bounds.. And I had only logged
in ONCE....(ie one time. no logging in and out)

Is it possible that xdm has a memory leak??
