Subject: Mylex DCE376 EISA SCSI controller with Linux

Does anyone run Linux with a Mylex DCE376 EISA SCSI controller?

The card is not on the list of SCSI controllers supported by Linux, but
it works ok with Linux. However, my SCSI drive was detected by Linux
as an IDE, this causes the Mylex controller act like an normal IDE
controller without the features of 32bit EISA bus master.

Does anyone in the develop team of Linux try to support the Mylex
controller? I really appreciate any comment.
