Well, I have xload on my screen as I speak. This is Linux SLS of some time in
December with kernel 0.99.4 with /proc filesystem compiled in. I then got
procps from tsx-11, which gives proc variants of ps, free, w, uptime and xload.
These all compiled and ran perfectly first time. procps is worth getting
anyway because it doesn't require recompiling every time you change the kernel.
