Subject: how to read .lzh/.tpz for non-SLS user
Date: Mon, 8 Feb 1993 04:16:43 GMT

I have checked FAQ lists and various other sources (and read
READ THIS BEFORE POSTING) and have not found an answer to these
questions. I would like to find out what I need in order to
read .lzh files such as byacc and .tpz files from the SLS
distribution.

I've been using Linux since 0.96c and have put together a system
myself. Although I do not use the SLS distribution per se, I
occasionally like to download packages from SLS. I know that
.taz files are compressed tar files. I don't know what .tpz
files are and have not managed to guess correctly so far. I
also can't find a compression utility that knows how to
uncompress .lzh files. I have limited access to internet and
don't really have the means to download every compression
utility to try them. If someone can tell me what programs I
need, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks!
