Hi...I was wondering if any experienced users could answer a few questions for
me:
I've got a 486sx-25, 4meg ram, 1meg vram, 170 meg hard disk. I was wondering
if it would be even worthwhile to try and run linux?
Second..after briefly looking through some of the linux files, I noticed
that they are to be compiled with GCC. Is that program available for
MSDOS? If not, how could I compile?
Lastly...I know some unix, but am by no means a wizard. How difficult
is linux to compile and get running. I am looking at it as a means of
learning more about unix, and hope that I don't need to know TOO much
to get it started.
Any help is greatly appreciated...
