Whenever I try to do a large compile (say of the Kernel) I get frequent
fatal errors where gcc (or cc1) dies on a signal 11 (or sometimes a 4).
I can just keep going by re-issuing the make command, but what's the
problem here? Im using the SLS distribution that I picked up on 2Feb93 and
it uses gcc2.3.3 and lib4.2 (to the best of my knowledge). I have had
problems with corrupted file systems in the past but I don't see any of those
signs yet.
