I'm thinking of getting a cd rom, Am I right that currently only SCSI cdroms
are supported. Does anyone know:

1) Are the spec of soundblaster and other cdrom interfaces available?

2) Is anyone working on support for them, if so which.

3) Are there any SCSI CD ROMS that don't cost 3 times as much as one with a
   SoundBlaster interface.
