The salesman reckons that there are no problems running a 9600 external
modem (with MNP, possible 38400) with the older UART, but that's on
a DOS box. Anybody have any problems on a multitaksing system, ie Linux?
The simple solution is to upgrade the RS232 card, but for reasons that
don't bear repeating, it's a pain.
