From: michaelw@mcshh.Hanse.DE (Michael Will) Subject: Q: Anyone ported XBtx from uni-erlangen? Date: Mon, 1 Feb 1993 23:06:35 GMT
Hello,
I am afraid this only applies to german users of BTX, a graphical
communication-system from the local-telecom...
I got the XBtx-Source which is said to compile fine on sun`s, and
would like to know, if anyone got this to compile on linux?
It came from ftp.uni-erlangen.de:/pub/XBtx/XBtx.tar.Z as far as I remember...
I really would like Btx on top of X-Windows - if only to impress
dosusers :-) or to get the trainconnection to my girlfriend...
This is what I got trying to compile it myselferver.o ########################
gcc -c -DDEFAULTSOCKETPORT=20005 -DDEFAULTMODEM=\"/dev/modem\" -DDEFAULTSPEED=2400 -DDEFAULTINITFILENAME=\"/local/btx/etc/init.btx\" -DDEFAULTUSERSFILENAME=\"/local/btx/etc/users.btx\" -DDEFAULTLOGFILENAME=\"/local/btx/log/log.btx\" btxserver.c
btxserver.c: In function `btxserver':
btxserver.c:196: storage size of `vec' isn't known
make: *** [btxserver.o] Error 1
Any ideas?
Any help *very* welcome :-)
Greetings, Michael Will
