This system will support just about any card in text mode. However, if you're
contemplating running X11R5, I highly recommend you get a Tseng ET4000-
equipped card. I picked up mine for $100 and X loves it. I picked up what
I thought was an EGA monitor (while I was still running EGA) so I could have
color (had an ATI EGA Wonder which will do EGA on anything) which turns out
to be a multisync monitor. And for $50, do you think I'm gonna complain?
I don't think so.

BTW, actually, any Tseng card will do, but I would steer WAY the hell clear
from Diamond cards simply because they're smegheads and won't give you info
about how to set up their clocks unless you sign a non-disclosure form.

Good luck and happy Linuxing!
