Hello. I'm running Linux 0.99p4 (no networking) and the XFree86-1.1
distribution from tsx-11.mit.edu.

I start X11 with "startx", and everything seems to work well. My .xinitrc
contains two "xterm &" commands. If I exit one of those two original xterms,
I always get a zombie process remaining. If I exit any other xterm, there's
no zombie. Does anyone know why this happens?

Also, whenever I exit X11, there's always an error message that says something
like, "xinit: interrupted system call (error 4): client error". Any clues?

Finally, I ran the Perl tests on both the SLS perl (/usr/bin/perl) and a
version that I built myself. Both versions fail (at different places) in
the "io/pipe.t" test. Any ideas (or patches)?

Also, where do I get the sources to the "ld" program in the SLS?

Thanks in advance.
