Hello guys,
  I am using getty( getty_ps) to watch my modem line but still cannot
dialin.
  My modem connect to ttyS1(com 2)
  I setup it up according to the serial-FAQ.
  The modem is inited but it does not answer my phone call.
  I have the following entries in my /etc/default/getty.ttyS1
  SYSTEM = linux2
  VERSION =/proc/version
  LOGIN=/bin/login
  ISSUE=/etc/issue
  CLEAR=NO
  HANGUP=YES
  INIT="" ATZ\r OK
  TIMEOUT=60
  WAITFOR=RING
  CONNECT="" ATA\r CONNECT \s\A
  ALTLINE=cua1

  I have check that getty is watching my modem but it does not answer
the call.
  I try to type garbage in the getty.ttyS1 and there is no error
message.
  I conclude that it is possible getty does not read me getty.ttyS1 and
does not send the init and autoanswer string.
  
  HELP!!! HELP!!!
  
  Could someone tell me how to make it work?
