As I posted a couple of days ago, this can be partially solved by installing
the poeigl-1.20 package to replace your current getty and login stuff. Finger
works properly after this, but last is still wrong. I don't know where the
fundamental problem is... what else modifies /etc/utmp? Or is this a bug
in the kernel?
