Hi Jeff,
I am using a Quantum LPS 240S harddisk with an Adaptec 1542C both under OS/2
and Linux and had NO problems at all so far. Both operatins systems are
installed on the same disk which is split in two partitions (you only have to
watch for the fdisk dilemma: make partitions with fdisk of OS/2 and then use
Linux fdisk to enter the correct partition types). IMHO the combination is
quite fast.

Use OS/2 and/or Linux and avoid all Windows NT related things
