The jove code is being reorganized to make it more portable. The latest
released version is I believe 4.14.10, at relay.cs.toronto.edu:/pub/moraes.
4.15 is being worked on. One of the changes is that it will be easier to
configure jove, selecting TERMIOS, POSIXWAIT, etc.. I am not sure the
posted version has all these changes. Try the version at that site and if
it does not work, I will try to find out more. I do NOT run Linux (yet),
but rather SunOS 4.1.3, SunOS 5.1, Intel UNIX SVR4.0.3, Xenix 2.3.3.
