Subject: Alpha pl12 Problems Report
Date: 10 Aug 1993 21:16:56 GMT

Just compiled the pl12 Alpha sources coming from the slackware distribution,
(08-08-1993), here are some new problems:

SCSI:
~~~~
  At boot time, the kernel prints a lot of times "Internal error scsi.c 966",
  but everything runs fine. (Adaptec 1540, 2 SCSI disks, never had any problem
  since SCSI is supported by Linux whith previous kernels).
  I have commented out the default case to suppress the warning, it's late and
  I must wake up early tomorrow :-)
NET-2:
~~~~~
  route is broken ( so is DIP, can't do SLIP any more, probably because route
  is not set proprely.)
  SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable. (works OK whith pl11)
  (It remembers me net-src to net-2...)

Serial ports (or init ? or SIGHUP lost? or what ? )
~~~~~
 After some dialouts whith uucp, my getty does not recycle at all...
 (My machine does a lot of uucp and answers to a lot a callers whithout
  any problems every day, so I have to keep the pl11 kernel for now.)
(Compiled which gcc 2.4.5)
