        You can get setserial, and use it to redefine the 38400 baud rate to
really be 57600 (or 115200 if you are crazy enough, and have hardware which
could actually handle such an insane rate, hehehe). Granted, it is a kludge,
it would be nice if stty and kermit, etc directly supported rates > 38400,
but setserial does work. I hope this helps.

P.S. This should be put in a FAQ (or stty/kernel/kermit, etc changed to
directly suuport > 38400 w/out setserial)
