Subject: fep or ile for Linux?

Has anyone ported fep or ile to Linux? These are programs
that give a 'tcsh'-like command line editing interface to
any line-based program, even 'sh'. I use fep at work on
Sun's, IBM's, and SGI's to give me a command line interface
to tcl and wish.

Trying to compile fep on linux did not work even with the
bsd defines. fep seems to want a field in the FILE structure
called _cnt. I am sure there are other problems too.
