We have a Linux machine that runs Linux 24h, and I have noticed that
finger and last seems unable to discover when a user logs off. It
seems that the information on which tty's that are currently in use,
are only updated when the tty is opened and not when it's closed.
This bug has been noted in both SLS 1.02 (pl. 9 I think) and SLS 1.03
(pl. 11).
